Visual & Safety Checks

• Inspect boiler and flue for corrosion, leaks, or damage.

Internal Boiler Inspection

We don't charge a call out fee for investigating a fault with a boiler or central heating system. This service is for issues such as loss of pressure, leaks from the boiler, fault codes displayed, unusual noises, or a lack of heating or hot water.

When a boiler or heating system develops a fault it's often because a part or parts have failed, and these parts will need to be replaced. If this is the case with your boiler, our engineer will feed his findings back to me and I'll email you a quote for the repair work. If you approve the quote, we'll carry the repair work out as soon as possible to get your boiler back up and running.

Alternatively, if our engineer can repair the boiler during his first visit, the cost of the visit will be £90 for the first hour's labour and then £45 for each hour thereafter (both of these prices include VAT). If materials are used, the cost of these materials will be additional.

• Removal of the main burner, injectors/jets, heat exchanger, combustion chamber baffles, and fan (if applicable).
• Stripping down of the condensate trap and full cleaning of internal waterways.

Cleaning

• Cleaning carbon deposits and scale from the burner head and heat exchanger surfaces.
• Descaling (if required) to restore heat transfer efficiency.

Reassembly & Testing

• Reassembling all parts with new seals and gaskets if required.

• Gas rate and pressure checks adjusted after reassembly.
