  Issue with oven

  Jeff came at fairly short notice and spent time assessing the oven to find the cause of the problem. We had previously been advised by an appliance engineer that it was a problem with the wiring but Jeff managed to rule that out and discovered it was a fault with the fan - something the previous engineer should have spotted. When we received the new part Jeff came back and fitted it, again at short notice. He’s a really top bloke who took the time to explain what the issue was and what he was doing when repairing it. I would happily recommend his services and would gladly use again!

  Absolutely fantastic work from Michael and his team. All work carried out to a very high standard and they even rectified some other issues from the previous install that they discovered along the way. Would definitely use again and would happily recommend to anyone in need of any window work be it a new installation or a repair.

  Sweep, clean and service of multi-fuel stove.

  Fantastic friendly and professional service from Lesley. She did a great job of sweeping the chimney and cleaning the stove. She also checked the installation as we had recently moved into the house and we wanted to be sure it was installed correctly and safely. She also offered us advice on keeping it running well and how we can improve things. Would happily recommend to anyone.

  Living room and bathroom ceilings repaired and rendered.

  Matt and his team removed a damaged part of my living room ceiling and boarded the hole before plastering the whole ceiling to a smooth finish, getting rid of the previous textured Artex look. They also removed some damaged parts of my bathroom ceiling before boarding it over and plastering it smooth too. The team were punctual, efficient and tidy. Matt gave me a very reasonable quote and I'm very happy with the work the guys have done. I'd happily use MSC Plastering Services again and would recommend to anyone.

  New lighting and extractor fitted.

  I wanted to redesign the lighting in my house, adding more in the kitchen and living areas and removing some old lighting I wasn't happy with. I also had a problem with mould in the bathroom and after discussing with Jimmy he suggested a more powerful extractor fan. Jimmy also replaced my outside security light which had never worked during my time living in the house. Jimmy gave a very reasonable quote for all of the work I wanted done and completed the job quickly, efficiently and tidily. I'm very happy with the work done and I would gladly recommend JMB Electrical Services to anyone.
