  Nice people doing a nice job at a fair price

  Walter and Nathan provided a competitive quote for rotavating our garden, tidying up, levelling and returfing. They started and completed the work promptly aligned with our timetable and left us with a great starting point for creating a comfortable garden. We were pleased with how they tackled this job and immediately commissioned them to undertake further works to replace an existing path at the back of our property and create a new one leading to the front door. We are again very pleased with their work and would recommend them to others. They were a pleasure to have at our house.

  Damp penetrating side wall

  Richard responded promptly to my enquiry, arranged a mutually convenient time for a site visit and communicated well prior to the visit. On arrival he respected my property, tested the wall and explained both what he was doing and what the meter readings meant. He also examined the other side of the wall and gave me a full plain English explanation of the problem and causes. He told me the remedial work he could undertake but also advised that there was a cheap DIY solution which would be adequate and followed this up by emailing details and links to the product. I am very grateful to him.

  I found Mark through Checkatrade after moving to a new area. The experience was first class at every stage. He immediately grasped not just the job that needed doing but the way that I wanted it doing and my priorities. He made good suggestions for minimising disruption, protecting features of the house and future proofing the work. His knowledge, skill and workmanship were faultless. He did what he said he would and exceeded expectations. The price was lower than expected. When we extend the house I insist that Mark does the electrics. No job too small, no electrician does it better.

  Moving the contents of a 4 bed house including a piano from storage to the new house

  We sourced Removalls through Checkatrade when we needed a local firm to undertake the last phase of our relocation to Sussex by moving our house contents from storage to our new home. The two man team were polite, friendly, strong, very hard working and knew how to lift, store, transport and handle everything we asked of them. They took great care both to look after our possessions and to do the job the way we wanted. Nothing was too much trouble and as a bonus they were even able to give us a replacement castor for one which had been lost in a previous phase of our move. Highly recommended.

  To examine locks without keys in the house we just bought and advise and enable them to be opened

  Lee responded immediately to my enquiry, visited the next day, advised on cost effective ways of solving the problem for the more expensive locks myself and supplied and fitted replacement handles with the same key for the 19 window locks within 2 days for a fair price.
