Turned up on time and fixed the door in under 20 minutes, which was great. However, the quoted price didn’t include VAT, which I wasn’t told until after the job was done. When I questioned it, he claimed he always tells clients—he didn’t. He also removed the rubber seal from the bottom of the garage door without any explanation; I had to ask why. Then told me his work guarantee doesn’t cover “being stupid and blocking the door,” which felt unprofessional.
