  Replacing floorboards

  Joe was very clear in when he would come, what he would do and everything related to the job. The work was completed to a very fair price inside half a day and I will use them again

  Tongue and groove snagging

  Joe first installed tongue and groove cladding to the interior of our summerhouse in October 2025. I recently noticed a few snagging issues to the cladding due to cold/damp weather over the past few months and contacted Joe to ask for advice. Joe returned and sorted out the issues promptly and free of charge, he also gave advice on suitable wood treatments I could use and how to minimise condensation that could potentially cause issues in the future. Great aftercare, thank you.

  Two days carpentry and repair work

  We had the Joe complete several jobs on the house over two days and very happy with the results. Joe was very good at keeping us informed throughout the process, his work was very tidy, and very well priced for the time he spent with us. He also made an effort with our son, who was scared of the noise, to make him feel comfortable. Which is nice when you have someone working in your home.

  Disappointing aftercare and customer service

  I hired this company to install flue hatches at my property, however a later gas safety check failed as they were incorrectly sized. When I contacted the installer, I was told the issue would only be fixed if I paid again, despite the installation being non-compliant. While the initial work was completed, it is unreasonable to charge again to correct an incorrect installation. Disappointing aftercare and customer service. Would not recommend.

We completed the job on a like-for-like basis, replicating what was originally in place, as no information was provided regarding different hatch sizes before or during the works.   Bespoke bed

  Joe was so helpful from quotation to carry out the work he keeps us updated throughout the whole process He’s workmanship is excellent and is such a skilled carpenter that my daughters new bespoke bed looks amazing and so pleased with it He even replaced a spindle in my banister free of charge Can’t recommend Joe enough and will use him again soon
