I hired this company to install flue hatches at my property, however a later gas safety check failed as they were incorrectly sized. When I contacted the installer, I was told the issue would only be fixed if I paid again, despite the installation being non-compliant. While the initial work was completed, it is unreasonable to charge again to correct an incorrect installation. Disappointing aftercare and customer service. Would not recommend.

I’m sorry to hear you’re unhappy with the recent work carried out by MJ CARPENTRY. We completed the job on a like-for-like basis, replicating what was originally in place, as no information was provided regarding different hatch sizes before or during the works.
I’m happy to return and install larger hatches; however, this would involve additional labour and materials, so a charge would apply.
