  We had our balustrade replaced by Midland Home Improvements and couldn’t be happier with the result. The team were friendly, helpful, and went above and beyond to ensure we were completely satisfied. A special thanks to Steve, Stephen, Jay and Jack, all genuine professionals who made us feel entirely comfortable and confident having them in our home. High quality workmanship, competitively priced, and excellent attention to detail. Highly recommended. We will definitely use them again and happily refer to others.

  Great work renewing our stairs!

  Steve & Jay did a fantastic job renewing our stairs from the old original painted white posts and handrails to a lovely oak set with black metal spindles. They arrived on time as planned and worked very hard to get the work completed ahead of schedule. Always ensured that they cleaned up after themselves and ensured the area was safe for use. Would highly recommend.

  supply and fit six internal doors

  When fitting the doors, the 'carpenter' sourced good quality doors and the door furniture that I requested. At first, they looked lovely but, after two weeks, we are having issues with the doors opening and closing correctly. It turns out that the hinges and catch plates have been packed with corrugated cardboard that is moving and the doors are all shifting. The tradesmen didn't fill any residual holes in the frames as they claimed that that is the decorator's responsibility so they look a complete mess. £1400 later and my husband is having to rectify the mess that has been left behind!

  Myself & the customer checked all doors that they closed and said she's happy, paid the amount due. Filling holes wasn't mentioned as the home owner said shes getting all walls & door frames painted. Could have quoted if known. Thankyou Mike

  Steve provided a fair, honest quote. He sent his colleague Jay, who did an excellent job fixing the creaky step. I’d definitely recommend Steve and his team for any carpentry work.

  I got in contact with Steve through Checkatrade as I needed an extra banister fitted at my elderly father's house. From the start Steve showed a through understanding of our needs. He made a initial visit to measure the job and went through a number of options for the banister. The work was carried out in less than a day and we're really happy with the end product as the banister is set at the right height and is finished to a very high standard.
