When fitting the doors, the 'carpenter' sourced good quality doors and the door furniture that I requested. At first, they looked lovely but, after two weeks, we are having issues with the doors opening and closing correctly.
It turns out that the hinges and catch plates have been packed with corrugated cardboard that is moving and the doors are all shifting. The tradesmen didn't fill any residual holes in the frames as they claimed that that is the decorator's responsibility so they look a complete mess. £1400 later and my husband is having to rectify the mess that has been left behind!
Response from Midland Home Improvements
Myself & the customer checked all doors that they closed and said she's happy, paid the amount due. Filling holes wasn't mentioned as the home owner said shes getting all walls & door frames painted. Could have quoted if known.
Thankyou
Mike
