  Efficient Booking, but Inefficient Service and Administration

  Efficient booking: I received a call within five minutes of posting the job. The plumber arrived slightly late but texted ahead. The issue was diagnosed quickly, however unnecessary “precautionary” checks extended the visit to nearly three hours when it could have been resolved much sooner. Invoicing on site was slow and disorganised, requiring three attempts and a price increase before being corrected. The repair works and is functioning well, but the process felt inefficient for an hourly service. I will use a different firm next time and expect clearer pricing and faster administration.

  Thanks for the feedback David although it’s very misleading, we attended site on a call out, after investigating your issues which carried on into furthers hours we then diagnosed that your two port valve was faulty and your nest had problems, we then supplied these parts and fitted them at an extra cost. It couldn’t have been resolved much sooner as then we wouldn’t have been able to do a thorough diagnosis. Thanks Danny

  The flat’s boiler was reporting an error. This turned out to be a lack of gas. The meter shows normal gas flow but a pipe obstruction is preventing it from reaching the flat. they used a pressure test to confirm the obstruction,suggested how it can be fixed and trying to identify the blockage but no luck because it is behind communal void used by other flats.

  Boiler service, system check, small gas leak repaired and advice on future boiler replacement

  Costa was friendly, helpful and clearly knows what he's doing. He took the time to explain everything to me, showed me how to maintain the boiler better, and was clear about what choices we have when we decide to replace the boiler. He found a small gas leak during the service and again explained what he found, showing me the tools he used to check and find the leak, and provided clear information on the cost to repair it before going ahead. As requested Fastfix sent us a quote for replacement, this was in our hands early the next day with clear information on the costs. Highly recommend.

  Appointment was made for 10. Charlie turned up early. He was very friendly while being professional. Got my problem fixed. Gave some useful advice and explained the issue. My whole experience with Fastfix was excellent a worthy 10/10!!!
