  I paid £100 for Alpha Appliances to assess and hopefully fix my dishwasher. The technician arrived in a car, not a van, and didn’t bring any cloths to manage the mess. He asked for an old towel, which ended up covered in fats and grease. He was here for about 20 minutes and said I would get a report the next day. Nothing arrived. After a week I chased the office and only then received a quote two days later. They wanted another £500 to replace a pump. Based on this experience, I wouldn’t recommend the company.

  Hi Ben, thank you for the feedback and I’m sorry you were disappointed. Our engineer arrived in a car as he’s our master technician, focused on diagnostics rather than carrying appliances or lots of tools, but was suitably equipped. He found the heat pump was leaking and the appliance feet had been glued, making removal impossible. The quote was delayed while we waited for manufacturer pricing, but sent once received. We also explained that if the appliance was removed beforehand, we’d waive the additional labour cost for the extra time and skill to remove the glued feet.

  Perfect repair.

  Alpha Appliances contacted me quickly and offered an attractive fixed price + parts. The appointment was booked and they contacted me before the booking to ask if I wanted to move it earlier as they'd had a cancellation. On the day, I was kept informed of their arrival and Richard was professional, friendly and fixed the problem in less than an hour with no parts required. A task that I was dreading was resolved more cheaply and more quickly than I expected.

  Alpha Appliances were excellent from start to finish. Booking online was straightforward, communication clear, and the engineer arrived on time. He quickly identified the fault with my dishwasher, explained the issue in plain terms, and completed the repair efficiently. The service was professional, friendly, and great value. My dishwasher is now working perfectly again!

  Mum's oven kept going off

  Called Dan. He knew the oven and model. Booked him in. Text me the day before and on the day, to say when he would be there. It was just my 85yr old mum, as I couldn't be there myself and I was v confident I could trust Dan as he came across very knowledgeable and friendly. Great service and would definitely recommend.
