  Patch repointing to fix internal damp

  I contacted two tradespeople to investigate whether repointing was needed to fix internal damp issues in my house. One person (with a high no of positive reviews on here) quoted around £2700 to patch repoint a large section of the wall, which included scaffolding and a guarantee for his work. The guy was genuine, but I was stressed about the cost. Then Michael came out to quote. Unlike the previous guy, he got on a ladder and identified the exact source where repointing was needed. He charged £350. He was thorough, proactive, reliable, efficient and human. Very grateful to him. 💯 recommend.

  Craig responded to my query quickly, came out when promised and provided a quote on the spot. He was reliable and professional. He quoted for repointing a large proportion of our external wal, with scaffolding. We didn't proceed as we only wanted patch repointing to fix an internal damp issue due to selling our property. We found someone else who identified the specific source of repointing needed and patch plastering with ladders. Craig is clearly a professional who was not willing to guarantee any patch repointing - we respect his honesty.
