  Excessive charging for fire protection work

  Damp plasterboard caused a wall hung toilet to crack surrounding tiles but after an assessment visit the work discovered a different explanation. First plumber competent but work hurried so tiling and grout work was poor, new parts needed a second visit when manipulation of the cistern downpipe caused a persistent leak. Two further visits required to remove tiles to replace the cistern, when an additional tile was cracked - tile work again poor - all by an apprentice. 5 visits in 10 weeks leaving a cracked tile and poor replacement cistern. Toilet out of use during some of this time.
