  Abandoned work and ghosting

  Hired AJ for a major renovation while living here with 4 young kids. After paying £7k of £11k, he abandoned the work in a hazardous state. He "glued" spotlights into lath ceilings with Toupret filler, they are now non-serviceable. He left loose sockets, hanging lights, badly plastered walls/ceilings and no toilet or basin installed. I overheard him a wk prior planning 2 new jobs for Mar 10. He sent a contractor to claim an "emergency" to remove his tools before ceasing all communication. He left tiling spacers stuck in adhesive and loose ones on the kitchen floor. Unsafe and dishonest. Avoid.

  Installed a gas line for my move from induction cooker to a gas cooker.

  Boiler relocation

  The Heating and Boiler Team were excellent. Professional and worked very hard to relocate my existing boiler for me, moving it from the first floor to the ground floor extension. They discussed the plans clearly, provided a very competitive quote, and provided an excellent service.

  Staircase newel post repair

  Rob was very professional and did exactly what needed to be done. He replaced a wobbly newel post, firming up the staircase in no time. An excellent job, and at a very competitive price.
