  Really happy with the bathroom work done by AJ and his team! From the start, AJ was easy to deal with and gave some great advice on what would look best. The whole process felt straightforward and stress-free, which I really appreciated. The new tiles look amazing and have completely changed the feel of the bathroom. Everything’s been finished to a really high standard, and you can tell they care about doing a proper job. They were always on time, kept things tidy, and just got on with it without any hassle.   Faultless Work and Brilliant Aftercare

  AJ attended promptly and didn’t even need me to explain the issue — he identified the problem straight away and knew exactly how to repair it within my budget. Very considerate guy, on time, and his aftercare has been brilliant as well. Highly recommended.

  Abandoned work and ghosting

  Hired AJ for a major renovation while living here with 4 young kids. After paying £7k of £11k, he abandoned the work in a hazardous state. He "glued" spotlights into lath ceilings with Toupret filler, they are now non-serviceable. He left loose sockets, hanging lights, badly plastered walls/ceilings and no toilet or basin installed. I overheard him a wk prior planning 2 new jobs for Mar 10. He sent a contractor to claim an "emergency" to remove his tools before ceasing all communication. He left tiling spacers stuck in adhesive and loose ones on the kitchen floor. Unsafe and dishonest. Avoid.

  The customer changed their mind repeatedly and asked for extra work at very low prices. They approached my workers directly for quotes instead of speaking to me, and became upset when prices were not agreed. They instructed us to install spotlights into a damaged ceiling despite our advice. Communication was then restricted, and my team raised safety concerns after discussing waste on site, so I paused the job until we could speak properly in person.

  This was a full flat restoration with electrical and heating pipework chased‑in, a new bathroom fitted, and all rooms made good ready for decoration. We set an extremely ambitious deadline which AJ, despite huge effort, couldn’t quite meet, but he worked with real enthusiasm and good humour, even over Christmas and often going above and beyond. A few snags arose, as expected on a job of this scale, and each was dealt with immediately and without any quibble. Decoration and flooring were handled separately as our move‑in date loomed.
