C1 Brickwork
10 Repointing Crumbling Brickwork
Posted 17 April
I contacted Charlie to quote on repointing sections of my conservatory and a brickwork arch on my side entrance. The pointing on the arch had almost disappeared in sections and the conservatory appeared to be letting in rainwater. Charlie gave me a good price for the work and started immediately. I was very pleased with both his work ethic and his excellent communication. The new pointing merged in well with the existing pointing and doesn't overly stand out. Thanks Charlie for an excellent job.Verified reviewerJob location: RM12CAS Plumbing and Heating Services Ltd
10 Radiators not getting hot!
Posted 20 November 2024
Job location: RM12My elderly mother was scheduled to return to her flat yesterday after spending seven weeks in hospital. We had turned on her central heating but the radiators weren't getting hot. I contacted CAS who I had used previously to see if they could visit asap. They said they could attend between 5-6 pm, they actually arrived earlier. The problem was quickly established as sticky thermostatic valves and CAS proceeded to fix the issue. The plumber stayed until he was confident the fix worked and each radiator was working correctly. I would certainly highly recommend CAS plumbers and Heating engineers.Aplusservices
10 Kitchen Sink Drain Blockage.
Posted 29 October 2023
My elderly mum's sink was blocked. I tried to clear it using the usual methods but without success. It was 3:30pm on Saturday afternoon that I found Aplusservices on Checkatrade. I gave them a call and Keith said he would be there soon, 30 mins later Keith arrived. You hear about cowboy's in this trade but Keith was a Knight in shining armour. He worked non stop for almost 3 hours to move the blockage and wouldn't leave until he was sure the problem was fixed. His charges were very reasonable and his work ethic was outstanding. If I could have awarded him 11/10 I would have.Verified reviewerJob location: RM12Whiter Interiors
10 Lounge ceiling plaster skim/repair.
Posted 09 September 2023
I contacted Peter to quote on reskiming my lounge ceiling which was damaged by a leaking pipe which fed my bathroom towel rail radiator. I accepted Peter's quote which was very reasonable. He arrived on time and quickly proceeded to fit plastic sheets to protect the walls and flooring. His standard of work was very high and I was extremely pleased with the finished job. He was polite and a pleasure to have working in my home. I would highly recommend Peter and wouldn't hesitate to call him if I need another plastering job.Verified reviewerJob location: RM12CAS Plumbing and Heating Services Ltd
10 Leak in lounge ceiling
Posted 21 August 2023
I contacted Conner to investigate the wet patch on my lounge ceiling. He arrived at my house within the timeframe he gave me. The leak was coming from my bathroom towel rail pipework. It was in a very difficult position but Conner and Keiran quickly got to work to cut out the leaking pipework after having drained down my heating system. They were both very friendly and professional. Having completed the job they then proceeded to clean up all their mess and left my house spotless. Before they left, I booked them to service my boiler. Excellent tradesmen, I would thoroughly recommend CAS.Verified reviewerJob location: RM12KB Plumbing Services
5 Didn't keep appointment
Posted 20 August 2023
I contacted Kyle to give me a price to repair a slow leaking pipe in my bathroom. He turned up promptly at the agreed time and spent time reviewing the pipe. He said he could do the job the following day, unfortunately I couldn't make it then. I wasn't to concerned because the leak was very slow and I had it covered with a bucket. He said he could do it on Saturday, which was fine. As he left, I asked him to send me his quote for the work. That was the last I heard from him. I was very disappointed because all he had to say was, sorry, I cannot do the job rather than ignore me.Verified reviewerJob location: RM12
