  EPC assessment

  I need an EPC to sell my house. I’m not convinced they’re worth anything. At least 2 items were assessed by guesswork. He didn’t ask many questions, eg about lighting, which you can’t see from floor level. Apparently if I spend more than £20000, I can save £900 a year, and reach grade B. C is average. I’m more disappointed with the system than the assessor, to be fair.

  Replace kitchen mixer tap.

  We’re very pleased with the job done by Matthew. Good communication, with prompt replies was reassuring. He in fact arrived early to do the work, which is rare these days, and it suited us anyway at the start of the day. Have recommended him to our daughter who needs some work to her bathroom. Job well done to quoted price.

  Hall, stairs and Landing.

  We used D.E.V before, and they did an excellent job in our kitchen, so we asked them back to do more decorating. What a difference they made to our hall, stairs, and landing areas. Cracks in ceilings, chips on banisters and doors were filled so that they’re now invisible, and all painted immaculately. Dev and Caroline were efficient, punctual, and courteous, and generous with advice and explanations. All done in the time span they estimated. We would thoroughly recommend them, and we’ll get them back for future work without a doubt

  Remove old patio, lay new much larger patio to include ramp.

  Excellent, we are very pleased with the work. Martin kept us informed as the work progressed and we were able to discuss and receive his advice about the job. Martin and Taylor completed the work in 4 days, arriving on time and working hard through each day. We’re impressed, and have now asked him to quote for our driveway.

  Replaced up and over garage door with electric roller shutter.

  Paul called us before lunch as our door was ready to fit (custom made), and by 4pm it was fitted and working well. Clean and tidy, all waste cleared away. Good work. Paul explained how it worked, and left comprehensive instructions (it isn’t difficult!)

  New fascias, soffits and gutters.

  Paul did a superb job and offered good advice about materials and how it would all work. He kept us fully informed throughout. He did the work when he said he would, was punctual, sociable, and tidied up well. The kerbside view of our house looks great now. The job took slightly longer than estimated, but we caused that because of an unavoidable delay with access for the scaffolding to be removed. I recommend this company without reservation, and most importantly my wife is pleased with the work completed??.
