  The work included fitting a new A new Water Fillet to an external door in hardwood including decoration, fitting an original Geogian knocker to the front door, re fixing a tea towel hanger and sanding down and re oiling a long teak worktop in the kitchen. All the work was carried out to a high standard. Recommended.

  killing rats

  Kevin set up rat traps in 2 locations in the garden where rats had nests and put poisin in the nest holes. Dead rats found after treatment. Cleared all traps etc away

  Fitting two parking bollards

  Pete was early and fitted two parking bollards into concrete parking bays with 4 rawl type bolts. The work was expertly done within an hour. Also asked if he could fit a grap handle outside the front door to assist assending/decending the steps. He also carried out this work straight away drllling into wall and fixing with 10 screws which he supplied. All work was done competantly.

  David Tooke undertook decorating a pyramid ceiling which had been replastered. Also the complete redecoration of a Georgian Drawing Room in a grade II listed building, All the work was carried out as required and to the agreed timetable to a high standard. Recommended.

  External wall and roof insulation

  Insulation to a solid external wall and a pyramid roof with sloping ceiling. The initial survey and more detailed survey were undertaken promptly and a quotation obtained within a fortnight. Work began within 3 weeks of acceptance. The work was done competently and satisfactorily. I recommend the company.

  Insulation related to Green Homes Scheme

  The company quoted for and managed 3 separate items viz: Internal Wall Insulation, Cavity Wall insulation and Loft insulation. The company was vey efficient in operating the Government Green Homes Scheme which was a very bureaucratic and tedious process. The contractors selected by Bidconnecter to undertake the 3 types of insulation were efficient with very good quality workmanship and arrived on the agreed dates and completed in the time quoted. All the paper work was promptly issued and the relevant warrantees issued by Bidconnecter. This company is highly recommended.

  Replacement of leaking valley gutter

  Three roofers were employed to undertake the work/ The existing valley was removed and reconstructed using new materials. GRP was used for the covering of the valley. Scaffolding was erected to provide safe access. The satellite dish was reinstalled after the valley was completed. Both the scaffolding and dish were organised and paid for by the roofers. The company worked diligently and quickly to complete the work.

  Complete renewal of a bathroom

  Clark carried out all the fitting of appliances, plumbing and wall and floor tiling. The electrics were carried out by his chosen electrician. (The fittings and tiles were supplied by us through Bradley Bathrooms Portsmouth and Topps Tiles) Clark works diligently and produces a very high quality of finish. He is courteous and nothing is too much trouble. He overcomes any difficulties with imagination and experience. A few outstanding small items took some time to complete after the bathroom was in operation. Thoroughly recommended for quality and very good value service.
