  Repair and replace part of a wooden balcony

  This was a complicated repair to a wooden post and beams which had rotted over time. Alin thoughtfully worked out a solution to tackle the job with minimum intrusion to the existing structure which he communicated well. He worked with precision and the finished article was excellent. I highly recommend FAM Carpentry for workmanship, care and excellent value for money.

  Fitting shelf to corner kitchen unit.

  Our magic corner kitchen unit finally packed in and Jamie gave us the option to replace the unit or build a simple shelf and remove the other contraption, converting the door to a slow closing side hinge. He did a great, neat job tailored to our requirements. He was courteous, efficient, tidy and friendly and just got on with the job. Importantly the amount charged was exactly as quoted. This was a competitive quote compared to others for the same job. I am happy to recommend this company and would consider them for other work.

  Large hedge and tree trimming

  We have just had our trees and hedges trimmed by Tree Solutions and I can't praise them highly enough. Nathan listens to what you want and does a lovely, neat and tidy job. The attention to detail on the hedges is superb. He and Shane are both really friendly guys and the value for money is excellent. The neighbours were grabbing them during the job to ask them to pop into theirs! I'm more than happy to recommend them.

  Repair outside standpipe tap

  Our outside tap was loose, leaking and in danger of bursting and we would have to switch off all the water supply to the house. Lawrence understood the situation, came wearing his PPE, very couteous, discovered the problem and fixed it quickly and tidily. We asked about future jobs when he was able to enter the house and we had a helpful discussion. No hesitation in recommending him and hope to contact him in future for other less urgent jobs.

  Room and stair carpet cleaning plus rugs and upholstery

  Excellent thorough job. John was courteous and professional, explaining the details of the job when giving us a quote so we knew exaclty what to expect. He carried out a thorough clean of 2 fabric settees, 2 heavy floor rugs, 2 room carpets, 1 closed and 1 open tread stairway carpet and a hallway carpet. All spots and general dirt stains were successfully removed, better than any other, cheaper previous cleaner so better quality and value in the long run. He also gave us post-cleaning instructions and some spot cleaner fluid. We have no hesitation in recommending Carpet Miracles.

  Lawn Re-turfing.

  Excellent job. A transformation of our front lawn which was in poor condition. Gavin dug up the old lawn and re-turfed it beautifully, cut to shape. He left us instructions on how to maintain it. The job was fast, neat and tidy and Gavin was courteous and helpful. Very good value for money. Very happy. I would highly recommend GA Landscapes.

  Laid new block driveway and steps.

  G A Landscapes was recommended to us by a trusted friend. We are delighted with the new block driveway, front doorstep, side steps and lawn edging. Gavin was early, went beyond expectations and put in extra time. He is very courteous, listened to what we needed and advised on what would work in our limited space with drainage solutions. He was fast, clean and tidy and the finished work looks great. I would not hesitate to recommend G A Landscapes and we will be using them again for re-turfing some lawn.

  Tall hedge and tree trimming with ivy clearing.

  Very pleased with Nathan and his colleague. They did an excellent thorough job in difficult terrain with a lot of slopes and tricky access, and followed the agreed plan to the letter. Their diligence and tidiness was second to none and certainly better than previous contractors. They took care to do things properly and left the place looking very neat and tidy. Very nice guys. I have no hesitation in recommending Tree Solutions. Very happy.

  Bespoke radiator shelf and sills in stairway.

  This was a relatively small but tricky cosmetic job due to the uneven surfaces and fabric of our walls. However Pawel has made it look perfect. He was meticulous and returned more than once to make sure the fitting was correct and the wood colour was a good match. A very courteous and skilled individual who took great care over his work and tidiness. When he could not make the scheduled time he made sure to call and re-schedule. I have no hesitation in contacting Top Class Carpentry again.
