  A tree in the back garden so covered in ivy that it was invisible. It needed removing

  The tree surgeons did an absolutely fantastic job. They began by describing the problem of leaving the ivy to me; that the ivy would kill the tree and to my surprise they were ready to do the job there and then after the initial survey. Everything was removed making the tree more visible and more light shining in. Also cut the root and applied a plant killer so that ivy attached to the trunk will die off in a few weeks. There was very heavy ivy leaning on the shed roof and pulling on the tree. All removed. They were very tidy and took all the cuttings away. Strongly recommended.

  New hanging wall tiles

  We had new hanging wall tiles fitted above the living room bay window and the old ones removed. Hugh did an excellent job and it was a joy to return home from work and see the work completed - transforming the exterior of the house. Any works that need doing - I would strongly recommend Hugh and team. Tidy on return as well, everything removed and tidy.

  Bird droppings on new roof tiles under protruding antenna they must have been sitting on.

  Super quick response from M.J.L. In fact did the job the same day the request was put in - cleaned the roof and put prevention spikes over the antenna. Recommended.

  House was reroofed. Ancient tiles removed and replaced with sleek Marley Modern Tiles.

  Had a roof replaced and it was complete swiftly. Scaffolding was up on the Saturday and the roof was finished in entirety by the Thursday. Thanks Jay, Matty and Buck for the swift, skilled work. Debris tidied on completion.

  Loose pipe knocking in old house after the toilet flushed. Curtis fitted new valves on cistern as old were leaking water.

  Curtis was friendly and did a thorough job in response to a difficult problem - as locating a pipe which could be vibrating anywhere would be difficult and disruptive. Main concerns allayed.

  Abdul attended to a concern I had about a vague knock sound in the pipework, tested everything and explained what was happening (which turned out to be nothing to be concerned about) to put my mind at rest.

  Kitchen Cupboard Door Coming off Hinges

  I was messing on with trying to straighten a kitchen cupboard door (not knowing what I was doing) and the whole door came off, pulling the hinges with it. Gavin came through in Checkatrade, offered a great price, was around as quick as the next day and fixed it. The door is back on like nothing happened 👍 Strongly recommended.

  Boiler vibrating loudly.

  During a recent cold snap, our boiler started vibrating loudly. Naturally concerned, I put the job through Checkatrade and Gaz answered promptly and was there within the hour. He fixed it and explained exactly what was going on inside the boiler and why it was making the noise. He was even on hand to answer any follow up questions. Highly recommended.
