  A reliable and skilled plumber

  I was so happy with the work carried out by Duane. On this occasion, I’d originally asked him to service the boiler and provide a gas safety certificate but my tenants had been having problems with a shower - which another plumber had been unable to correct - so I asked Duane if he’d mind looking at that too. Duane went out of his way to fit with the times my tenants were available and was able to diagnose the shower problem and solve it. While there, he also unblocked the toilet and found a leak in a washing machine hose which he replaced! Great guy, no hesitation in recommending him!

  Replacement of an internal glazed door

  I am very happy with Sam. Very nice guy. The glass had broken in an internal glazed door and the door was not in good condition. When Sam measured it for replacement he discovered that the frame was not of a standard size. After explaining to me what the position was and the options available - including the advantages and disadvantages of each of these - a new door was ordered and Sam did some very neat work to the frame to ensure it fitted well. Good quality door and fittings. Very happy with the result. No hesitation in wholeheartedly recommending Sam.

  Work on a large silver birch tree

  I was very happy with this company. Everything was as arranged. They came to discuss the work, advise and quote for the work when they said they would. The quote was very fair. We booked a date and they arrived on the day, at the time agreed. After working on the tree for some time, it was significantly reduced in height, spread and density but it still had a good shape. I was delighted and impressed. Wholeheartedly recommend!

  Repair to casement doors

  I was concerned about doors which were not locking properly so I called the company around 7:15 am today, expecting to leave a message. Stuart answered straightaway and said he would be able to call in just before 8am if that was convenient. I was delighted. He arrived when he said he would, had a look at the problems with the doors, suggested what needed doing and checked I would like him to carry out the work. Stuart got straight on and fixed the doors, clearing up efficiently too. I was very impressed, would definitely call on Stuart again and have no hesitation in recommending him.

  I had a problem closing and locking an external double glazed door

  Very good customer service. Scott called me back even though I’d left a message on a bank holiday. He was away but fixed to come first thing the following morning to sort out the problem. No hesitation in recommending this company.

  Cameron came to have a look at my roof - it turned out to be fine and no work needed doing on it. He spoke to my son and called me, sending me a photo of damaged render on one of the walls and advising getting that sorted. A really genuine, helpful guy.

  Building a 9m raised bed with sleepers; Improving and developing an inset bed.

  Very happy with the work done yesterday. I asked AC Gardens to do this work as I was delighted with their last job which transformed the garden. The raised bed looks really good and is in keeping with other materials. The patio bed is now ready for the larger plants I decided I wanted to put in there. The guys are totally professional, knowledgeable and polite. They arrive on time, do all that is required, offer help with other stuff, leave everything beautifully tidy.

  Garden lighting

  Mark has done work for me before. Not only is he great at electrics and a very efficient and tidy professional, he’s also very kind and patient. I now have wall lights and pedestal lights set up and points installed ready for lighting I haven’t yet decided upon at the back of the garden. Everything is exactly as I had in mind - which in reality meant that Mark had some issues to overcome, the solutions to which he explained carefully. I wholeheartedly recommend this company.
