  Company must specify EXACTLY what will be done.

  I was expecting a Deep Clean and was told when negotiating with the company that cleaning the inside of kitchen cupboards was part of the arrangement. I left the cleaners to it. I came back when they called me, to find that what they had done, they did well, but that the inside of the cupboards had not been done. They showed me the list they had been given which did not specify the cupboards. In other words I did not get a deep clean for my money.

  Blocked sink.

  I phoned Ecorod and left a message. He replied within an hour and came around an hour after that. He explained what the problem was likely to be - basic or complicated - and after securing my agreement went ahead. Fortunately it was a simple blockage which he sorted. I would definitely hire Ecorod again and may even explore the possibility of them fitting a water softener.

  Panel fence with concrete posts.

  It took a while to come to an agreement because we wanted a type of panel which proved pretty much impossible to get. The difficulty of getting some of the panels advertised seems to be an established problem in the garden fencing business - not sure why. Anyway once this problem was settled we agreed a price (very competitive) and a date. Mr Bisley and colleague arrived on time and worked through without a break until the job was done. The workmanship is excellent and the fence looks great. Very professional from start to finish.
