  Friendly, reliable and such a good job : )

  I needed someone to paint the walls of a room (with some filling and smoothing of a few holes) and Jason set a day to come and look at this, which he did. He emailed me a quotation and a date when he would be able to help, which was quite soon - and that was excellent. He is so lovely; he did such a good job - and I do hope he will be able to help me again with various other jobs I am sure to have (I am already putting together a list!) I would happily recommend JAQO to anyone else who is looking on here for someone to help with a job in their home.

  'Mirror in the bathroom...'

  I needed someone to put up four small mirrors for me, three of which were to be fixed to ceramic tiles in the bathroom. I am pleased that Stuart was able to help me with my mirrors, which he fitted securely and efficiently. His communication prior to the visit was excellent and he was a lovely, cheerful person who I would happily ask to help me again with any other household jobs I need help with (which is pretty much anything requiring an electric drill...)

  Additional boarding in loft

  We had a good response from checkatrade people willing and able to extend our loft space and had three people out to look at the space and give a quotation; all good. The Instaloft man who came out to 'survey' and quote was so thorough...taking photographs and drawing up a detailed plan that was really helpful. A different man carried out the job; also excellent. It wasn't cheap but it has made so much difference; there is almost double the space now, on raised platforms either side of the hatch. It smells lovely of new wood and is a clean and spider-free area.

  Putting up heavy mirrors, inside and outside...

  Brandon helped by fixing a heavy metal garden mirror to the wall, along with cast- iron ornaments and then put together a metal and glass patio table. Inside the house he put up a heavy-framed mirror in the hall, and fixed some bathroom accessories to a - ceramic-tiled - bathroom wall. I am very pleased with what he did and he did a good job in each case. He was really lovely...friendly...and efficient. Also his communication by email prior to coming out to do the jobs was really helpful. I would definitely recommend Brandon to anyone else looking for help with any household jobs.

  They left my bathroom sparkling...

  We were due to move house the very next day and I had left it to the last minute to see if I could find someone to clean my bathroom, plus an en-suite shower. This company replied to my request and were able to send someone the next day - therefore at 'next to no notice' - who did an excellent job and left my bathroom sparkling. One of these lovely, cheerful ladies also helped by fitting my new toilet seat, which I always have trouble doing for some reason. I cannot tell you how happy I was to see these two ladies and what a good job they did at such short notice. Recommend this company.

  Moving household items to a local storage unit

  I have used this company before when I needed a single item of furniture moved and remembered how helpful they were. This time, I needed quite a few boxes of books and small items of furniture moved from my house to a local storage unit. I had not needed to do this before and worried that I had too much stuff and had under-estimated the space needed. This was in June and I cannot now remember the name of the two men that came, but they were so lovely and helpful and the whole job proved to be quite painless. I would definitely use them again for anything they might be able to help with.

  Two rows of very tall conifer trees lopped and all branches shredded and taken away :)

  Very pleased with MBM and would definitely recommend. He returned my initial call on his mobile almost immediately and came out the same day to look at trees and to give a quote. When he and two others came to do the job they worked really hard and cheerfully for most of the afternoon on a really hot day. They cleared everything away and left the garden very tidy. We should have done this sooner, as the garden looked immediately lighter and wider - very pleased :)
