  Helpful and professional service

  I ordered a replacement upvc door from Apex Windows. From start to finish, the company has been brilliant. All questions were answered in careful detail, the appointments were scheduled to suit us, the quote competitive and the ordering process was seamless. There was always somebody to answer the phone in the office and every member of staff has been very helpful and professional. The communication from Apex Windows has been excellent.. The door was supplied and fitted ahead of schedule.. We’re very happy with the door and the service we received. Can’t recommend enough.

  Installation of humidistat fans

  From start to finish, the communication was excellent. All my questions were answered and I was provided with helpful advice. The work was done to schedule and to a very high standard. I really appreciated the attention to detail and the care that was taken to make good the walls after channeling in the wiring and the cleaning up afterwards.. It’s the extra care and respect for my home that makes all the difference.

  Ceiling papering

  James did a great job of Wallrock lining a bedroom ceiling that had been damaged by a leak. He kindly moved some of his work schedule around to accommodate our deadlines. Jason is very knowledgeable and skilled at his work, a real professional. He also provided valuable advice and recommendations as part of the quote process. 100% recommend.

  Roof leak

  We had a leak around a chimney which we’d been trying to get fixed for years. Lots of roofers had come to look and couldn’t see a problem or suggested a complete new roof instead. Meanwhile, the water kept coming in. Simon from John Riley Roofing listened carefully to the problem, inspected the roof, identified the cause and came up with a practical solution. He impressed me with his vast knowledge and professional attitude. Simon and John did the work to schedule, with care and professionalism. Leak finally appears to be fixed! I’d definitely use this firm again. 100% recommend.

  Power flush and gas safety inspection

  Sean the gas engineer was courteous and extremely professional. He was meticulous in his work, answered all my questions with clarity and patience and tidied up perfectly. The work was completed to time. The quote was very reasonable for the work done. Laura in the office was equally helpful and professional. Will definitely use Presland Plumbing again.

  House rewired

  Paul was extremely thoughtful and proficient in his work. The rewiring went according to plan apart from a couple of minor issues. I appreciated the care that Paul and his team took of my house and they were extremely tidy. Turned up on time. Only problem is that no certification was provided, despite being included in the quote. Needed for house insurance and sale purposes. Been chasing this for nearly 6 months, hence reduction in score for 'timeliness'.
