  Replacement shower part

  Be very wary of their fixed-price quotes. I paid £140 for an hour’s worth of work. The engineer came and agreed I needed a replacement part. I then received a quote for the part that I naively paid £510 for, only to later discover that the part itself only cost £70. 0800 HomeFix has refused to give me any breakdown of this cost. In addition, the part sourced was not a like-for-like replacement and changes the way we now operate the shower - I was given no warning of this, and only made aware once the part had be fitted. I would think twice before engaging with 0800 HomeFix.

  Toilet repair

  Ian’s communication was brilliant and he was able to arrange an appointment very quickly for us. He did a great job at repairing our toilet that had water running through it constantly. He is super professional and I would highly recommend him.

  Repairing faulty door handle

  Wayne arrived within 30 mins of me calling him and the problem was fixed within 20 mins! He is so polite and so efficient! Would thoroughly recommend him to anyone needing a locksmith.
