  When I sent out my job requirements, Holly phoned and kindly explained the service and expectations really clearly, which gave me a lot of confidence in using 0800HomeFix. She arranged Dean to come around at a specific time, and the service provided was all professional and friendly. I felt that Holly and Dean were very focused on ensuring a great job was done. I have no complaints and will ask for their help again in the future.

  Avoid at all costs!

  I can’t even leave the review I want to, to warn people. I paid £144 and was told this was for the first hour of work. Not even 10 minutes there and the plumber said “I need paying before I can start the work” I said I had already paid. I had then been send another bill for £253.73 for the work that needed doing. I asked what that money I had paid was for and he mumbled something about soldering not being covered under the insurance. After the job was done, I was asked to sign to say it had been completed, I was sent an email, what I had signed was a disclaimer, and my work was not covered.

  Loo handle replacement

  I sent pictures - which the company did not share with the workman. He wasn't able to get the part, so the call out fee was a waste of money. I then had to chase them up - they wanted to charge hundreds more for a second call out, but refused to bring both parts which could be required. Instead their genius idea was to charge me for a second call out plus one part and if that didn't work a third call out with the second part. They didn't even follow up to try and confirm dates - maybe because they were so ashamed of their terrible business model.....
