  We were very lucky to find Paul to do our ensuite refurbishment. He made an excellent job of it, was good at discussing different options, and kept us well informed as to progress. He is also a very nice guy. Would not hesitate to use his services again.

  Replace garage door with wall and window

  Ian made an excellent job of replacing our up-and-over garage door with a wall with pebbledash rendering, also with a window. The price was very reasonable and the job was done and completed over a couple of days, exactly when he said he would do it. I would certainly recommend Ian for building work.

  Replacement of gravel driveway with tarmac one.

  Once they had agreed to build exactly the driveway they had quoted for (since they initially set about doing rather less), the work proceeded reasonably well, although there are still one or two concerns. But the unfortunate start caused mistrust on our part, made worse by poor communications, with some reasonable questions left unanswered. However, progress halted 3 weeks ago and we now have an unusable driveway. A series of reasons have been given for the delay, and one promised re-start day has come and gone with no-one showing up. Not recommended! (A record of communications is available.)
