  Alan recognised that the work needed to be done quickly, and came to do it the day after we spoke. He clearly knew exactly what to do, and made the damaged stair safe. He was very friendly, and his charges are reasonable.

  Lights on external steps

  Paul from Helix designed and fitted lights on our external steps. These were to replace bulkhead lights and sensors which had been damaged by people going up and down the steps with shopping and other bags. He suggested replacing the old lights with led strips under the handrails on the steps. The result is that the lights are unnoticeable during daylight and cannot be damaged when the steps are in normal use. They illuminate the steps we'll, without shining light elsewhere. He managed to place the pir sensors in such a way that they cannot be damaged by people using the steps.

  Repifix responded quickly to my request for a boiler service. The engineer who carried out the work appeared to be very thorough. He was particularly focussed on ensuring that there were no risks in relation to the gas supply.

  Elimination of rat infestation, and identifying and blocking their entry route

  The problem was solved and the work completed in three short visits. Dean could not have been more helpful. He responded quickly to my initial call, arranged times to visit and kept to those times. He was knowledgeable and efficient.
