  Mike arrived promptly, lifted our landing carpet and underlay and explained the options available. After carrying out the repairs we wanted, he expertly re-laid the underlay and carpet and left the area clean and tidy. Mike takes a methodical approach to floorboard repairs, taking extreme care not to drill into any pipes or cables. Although it is difficult to completely eliminate all noise without a full replacement floor, we are pleased with the work Mike did to significantly reduce the noise from our landing flooring and we would use him again for other rooms in the house.

  Replacement Windows

  Replacing thirteen windows is an expensive business and not one undertaken lightly. Having done our due diligence with different suppliers, we chose Applegate Home Improvements Ltd and are very glad we did. In our opinion, the products supplied are of the highest standard, the pricing is fair and our dealings with Rob and the team have been very easy. Delivery was arranged in line with the original lead time and George, the installer, did an excellent job completing the installation with the minimum of disruption.

  Supply and fitting of venetian blinds

  We started using Project Blinds over a year ago as a result of a personal recommendation. Since then they have supplied and fitted blinds to most of the windows in our house. We have found the measuring and fitting teams to be friendly and very efficient and I would recommend them without reservation

  Faulty toilet cisterns

  We used Ian for the first time recently to help with 2 leaking Geberit enclosed cisterns. I think this is the sort of work that some Plumbers would shy away from as they are fiddly jobs. However, Ian arranged an initial visit to assess the work needed and then resolved the issues to our full satisfaction. Will use again for any plumbing issues.

  Installation of New Worcester Bosch Boiler

  I used Checkatrade and the Worcester Bosch websites to get 3 installers to quote for my new boiler. After Andy from ACA surveyed my requirements and explained his solution, which was neither the cheapest nor most expensive, I asked him to do the work. The installation of my new boiler, with re-routing of the flue and hot water cylinder replacement was completed ahead of schedule, on budget and to my complete satisfaction. I will be using Andy for my annual boiler services and recommend ACA without hesitation

  We have used Russell for a number of years and recommended him to friends and family. As a result of our previous experience, we arranged for Russell to redecorate our bedroom while we were on holiday and returned to find the job complete and a shiny new bedroom waiting for us.
