  Efficient rubbish clearance at reasonable cost

  I had various items of garden rubbish together with some household items for disposal. BRC turned up as scheduled and removed all of the items without fuss and for a reasonable cost.

  Josh was very helpful in helping me to decide the type and colour of the slate chippings to replace the poor grass surface as part of the work undertaken. His team arrived as scheduled to remove the grass in a very efficient manner. Unfortunately, the laying of the slate chippings was a little delayed as the stock had not arrived at the depot, but when it was available it was laid neatly and looks really impressive. The team were careful to tidy up at the end of the job. I can thoroughly recommend Josh and wouldn't hesitate to use him again.

  A hassle-free experience.

  My trusty washer/dryer finally stopped working so I asked Jay from JD Domestics to call. Arriving on time, he advised that the circuit board had failed and that, unfortunately, no replacement was available because of the machine's age. I arranged with Jay to have a new machine installed which was again done on schedule with no hassle at all. All in all, an excellent, stress-free, experience and I will be using JD Domestics again if/when the need arises.

  Professional and quality fencing work

  My experience with Bill Giles Fencing was very positive. Contact was hassle-free and communication was good. After the quote had been accepted Bill arrived on schedule to undertake the work - installing a concrete support post for the existing wooden post and fixing trellising along the length of the fence top. This he did quickly and professionally. I will certainly use the company again for any future fencing-related work.

  Repainting the hallway of my bungalow

  This was the second job Ian had undertaken following the repainting of my kitchen. Ian carefully covered the floor, light switches, door handles etc., to ensure a "clean job". All surfaces were then carefully and properly prepared and painted with the requisite number of coats. He explained what had been done, and what was left to do as he went along so I was fully informed. Any materials left at the end of each day were covered up. At the end of the job itself he left everything very clean and tidy. I have no hesitation in recommending Ian and I will be using him again in the New Year.

  Re-painting the kitchen

  The whole experience from the initial visit by Ian to the completion of the work was completely hassle free. Ian is very friendly and punctual. He spends time in thorough preparation (ensuring the floor is properly covered, along with the glass in the door and the various other fixtures and fittings etc.) something that can be overlooked but pays off later. The quality and standard of his work is first class and reflects fully the schedule set out in the estimate provided earlier. I have no hesitation in recommending Ian (and will be getting him to do more work for me later on this year).

  Repair to leaking WC water supply; removing covering tiling and fixed boxing with new box.

  Clive arrived at short notice in response to my request regarding a water leak in the WC supply. He not only had to replace the leaking water supply pipe but remove the original tiles and plywood boxing to get to it. He returned a few days later to replace the plywood boxing (I did not ask for new tiling so easy access could be gained in future, if needed). As usual, everything was carried out very professionally and the WC was left clean and tidy.

  Arrived on time, examined the widow carefully then re-positioned it slightly and fitted a new gasket. Previous gap around seal now gone. A friendly, professional, service and reasonably priced. Recommended.
