  Electrical Installation Condition Report and future works

  David was incredibly generous with his time and expertise. My house is very old and has a lot of issues and he suggested we do an EICR report initially to determine exactly what the issues were. He talked me through everything that is required to remedy the issues while doing the report and answered many questions very patiently. We now have a plan for future works that he will be carrying out for me in December and I feel very reassured. I'm also immunocompromised and David was very happy to wear a mask throughout the 2 hours he was here which was greatly appreciated.

  Patio and decking

  This is the third job Sam has done for me - previously he had done decking for me last year, this year he laid a patio, and I was so pleased with this I then got him back to also lay patio slabs down the side of the house. He's always quick to respond and great at communicating if there are any issues or delays and will take the time to explain why and how he's doing anything. Quotes have always been very fair compared to others received and standard of work has been good.

  Large shed demolition and removal

  Said they could quote from just photos, I suggested it was a complex job and would be worth a visit, but they insisted they could give a firm and guaranteed quote from photos. Sent 10 photos plus a floorplan with measurements (6m x 5m shed). Quote was accepted, but when they arrived to do the work (after failing to turn up once) they decided the quote had to more than double. Agreed a new price and they then failed to turn up a further four times, often without notification that they weren't coming. Very stressful, has wasted a month of good weather, now I must find someone else.

  Emergency wasp nest removal

  Emergency wasp nest removal - time critical due to other trades availability. Malum went above and beyond on a Friday afternoon to help me and I'm forever grateful. I spoke to an incredibly helpful and calming lady in the office who moved some things around and managed to get a technician out to me the same afternoon. Steve was kind and answered all of my many questions patiently and in detail and resolved the wasp problem rapidly and safely. Have already recommended them to family members.

  Removing raised beds, building large deck

  Sam and his team were absolutely great throughout the process, quoting rapidly and with a fair price and being open about when the work could be carried out. There were some unexpected challenges (including a surprise wasp nest) but Sam and the team went above and beyond to deal with these and make sure the work was finished to a high standard. Communication has been great throughout too, and I am delighted with the result!

  Replacing masonry arch above front door

  Communication was good, and the quote given quickly. It did take a while to schedule the work due to the weather, but this was obviously not their fault! Work has been carried out to a high standard, I was kept informed throughout and everything looks great. They also spotted an issue with my guttering (unrelated to the work they were carrying out) so I was able to get this fixed - without them making me aware it could have caused damage to my property, so was much appreciated.

  Clearing a massive 6m x 6m shed

  Jon got in touch extremely quickly after my initial enquiry and came out the same day to quote! His team were then able to come and do the job the following week and were incredibly speedy and efficient in quite trying circumstances, with difficult site access. Communication was great throughout. I'm delighted with what they achieved and the price was very fair. Will definitely use them again :)

  Guttering replacement

  They were great throughout! Really friendly staff, came and gave me a quote really quickly, were able to answer all of my questions in detail, which was reassuring. Were able to be flexible with installation when I couldn't be at the property. Standard of work looks good, although I haven't had any heavy rain since installation (they replaced all of my very old guttering with new) to really test it yet. Nothing was too much trouble, and they popped back very quickly to rectify a really tiny issue. Very pleased with the work completed, would definitely use again.

  Really smooth process. Quoted very quickly, took my circumstances into account to recommend most appropriate product. Fitting was all completed in a day and to a high standard. Very pleased with the system, has been genuinely life changing comfort as I am disabled and struggle to regulate my own body temperature.
