  Fraser very patiently answered all our questions and addressed every concern about the work, making sure it was the right solution before we went ahead with booking. His knowledge of our specific tree was reassuring, and he never rushed or pressured us into a decision. On the day, he unfortunately had vehicle issues but kept us fully updated, and the moment he arrived he and the team got straight to work.   UPVC window hinge repair

  After a quick quote, Gary fit us in the next day. He gave an ETA in advance and arrived exactly on time. After a brief inspection, he confirmed the issue, price, and got to work. Just 15 minutes later, our window was fixed! Gary was fast, quiet, and considerate throughout. Very impressed and he’ll be our go-to for any future window needs.   [Pipe replacement] Fantastic. Swift, polite, and professional

  Based on other reviews, I contacted Max who quickly replied with a full breakdown of the work required and a very reasonable quote (and was happy to work around my tricky garage layout!). Confirmed a couple more details over the weekend before turning up today. Max was prompt and efficient, setting straight to work, quickly and quietly replacing the pipe and cleaning the filter. Once the job was done he showed me the mess of the filter before responsibly disposing of it and assuring me he will come back if any issues occur.   Boiler service led to fix - Great longterm customer aftercare

  I recently had a boiler service carried out by this company, and I am genuinely impressed by their professionalism, transparency, and exceptional customer service. I initially called them out for a standard boiler service, but during the inspection, the engineer discovered a safety issue with the boiler that required it to be turned off immediately. I fully understood the reasoning behind this, and I appreciated the quick and careful action taken to ensure the safety of my home and family.   4m landing wall above stairs - Done!

  Superb service! Did 5m worth of edging on our open staircase, 4m from the steps without hesitation! Andre turned up at the agreed time and was straight to work, very methodical, and very considerate. As a neat-freak I provided shoecovers which he wore happily, taking them off and replacing as needed. Kept me informed but worked quickly and quietly enabling me to continue working from home which was a bonus. Very reasonable price (especially considering it was going over our bad attempt!) Can only recommend- Will use again!

  Excellent Investigation and Work

  We suspected a gas leak and called the emergency number who came to the property and shut off our gas. Not ideal. I called Dan the following morning who was able to come by and provide a reasonable quote for running some pipe to the oven, and said he was able to do the next day - Brilliant! Once there, without being asked, he checked the gas "drop" along the pipe he was set to replace, and also checked it to our fire and concluded the issue wasn't actually in that place, but another. This prevented needless waste/mess/money. Was able to do the required work instead and lowered the price! A*

  Fix 2x leaking pipes

  After the call they were round within the hour as promised. Was incredibly friendly and very polite, supplied his own shoe covers which he put on without asking as he stepped into the house. Inspected the job, assessed what needed doing and explained the issue. We discussed options and he believed the cheaper and less invasive of them would remedy my issue. Set to work quickly and quietly, enabling me to carry on with my laptop work. After the job was done, he did a test run to ensure it was working and quickly tidied up. Also came to double check the fix was working a week later! A+ experience

  Having called for a quote, Le was very helpful and understanding of our position as new homeowners, advising us to get multiple quotes and "get a feel" for the people before jumping straight in. This combined with Keith's in-person quote and borderline electrical safety masterclass gave us a lot of confidence booking HL&P. Keith turned up on time, and set straight to work, sharing his knowledge of things he encountered along the way. Having noticed an unsuitable breaker, Keith sorted it same day to ensure it was safe.   65" TV Wall Mounting + Aerial Removal

  After responding to my job on Checkatrade, Paul and I had a couple of phone calls / emails to ascertain what I was after and what he could offer. Given the price, and the great reviews, we booked the job in. Paul turned up and quickly assessed the mounting area and where exactly I wanted it. It didn't take long for him to get the mount on the wall, and hang the TV on it. Paul answered all of the many questions I had and gave me a demo on how to adjust the viewing angle. After that he quickly set to removing the aerial - He brought it down from the roof and removed the excess wire very quickly

  Ceiling leak diagnosed and fixed

  Came downstairs to water droplets on the ceiling... Great. Found DMG on Checkatrade and having read the reviews, gave them a call. They said they'd be able to get to me by afternoon, and arrived about 5pm, apologising for delay. No worries. Quickly diagnosed the problem, and recommended we cut into the ceiling to diagnose. Dave immediately saw the problem and solved it - A push-fit connector wiggled loose! He remidied this and tested it a few times to ensure it was fixed - very happy. Dave was very knowledgable and answered all our questions. He and his assistant were polite. Will book again
