  Chimney breast remodel

  I started a project to remodel the chimney breast in my house. Nick reviewed the work and provided a quotation. Initially promising, the project required several amendments. Unfortunately, different workmen were involved, leading to repetitive explanations of what needed to be done, although the finish was satisfactory. I then started refurbishment work on my conservatory. However, the workman from Nick's team assigned to inspect the rebuilding of my conservatory left halfway through the process. Overall, the experience fell short of my expectations.

  Replace and Install new doors and some skirting

  I hired Julian to install new doors in my bedrooms and lounge, along with some skirting. However, upon inspection, we realized that the door frames needed replacement, making it a more extensive job that would take a bit longer to complete. Despite this, Julian managed to finish the work on time and to a decent standard. Unfortunately, I discovered a large gap behind some of the trims, so I’ll need to call him back to address that issue.

  Removal of Chimmeny stack and install tiled air vents

  I am in the process of refurbishing my house and needed the removal of a chimney stack and the installation of tile air vents. Adam came over and provided a quotation for the work and confirmed his availability. He was able to do the work in a timely fashion, although there were some issues with the installation of the tiled vents which was unexpected and needed additional repair. I would hire for work in the future.
