  Call out for boiler repair

  I booked an inspection and was charged £120. During the visit, the engineer disconnected my boiler and cut the gas supply, stating it was “Immediately Dangerous” due to a rusted casing. However, the issue appears to be a minor water leak from the diverter valve causing surface rust, and the boiler was otherwise functioning. I was not properly consulted before the disconnection, and the explanation provided was vague. The warning notice also states that the disconnection was done with my permission, which is not accurate. Overall, I am dissatisfied with the lack of clear communication
