Discolouration and fading can be remedied through a thorough clean. This can be done using regular household cleaning products or with specialist chemicals.

Damaged or missing sections of mortar can be restored by re-pointing the wall. Scrape out the old mortar and apply a new layer of mortar, ensuring that you push it all the way into the gap.

You can use a similar methos for replacing a brick that is too damaged to restore. Scrape out the old mortar, then carefully prise out the old brick.

A new brick can now be inserted into the gap and mortar applied to secure it in place.

If your bricks are spalling, the surface of the brick has chipped away or become damaged, you can apply a liquid sealant to prevent water ingress.

If the damage is extensive, you may prefer to replace the spalled bricks using the methos above.
