Our call-out charge covers the first hour on site, including diagnosis and, where possible, the repair itself.

We aim to complete the repair within this first hour whenever possible.

If more time is required, any additional labour is charged at a reduced hourly rate.

If replacement parts are needed, we will provide a clear quotation for approval before carrying out any further work.

Dismantling

• Removal of the main burner, injectors/jets, heat exchanger, combustion chamber baffles, and fan (if applicable).
• Stripping down of the condensate trap and full cleaning of internal waterways.

Cleaning

• Cleaning carbon deposits and scale from the burner head and heat exchanger surfaces.
• Descaling (if required) to restore heat transfer efficiency.
• Cleaning out the flu Inspection
• Checking electrodes, sensors, fans, seals, and gaskets for wear.
• Inspecting the expansion vessel and safety valves more thoroughly.
• Ensuring combustion chamber seals are intact.

Reassembly & Testing

• Reassembling all parts with new seals and gaskets if required.
• Full combustion analysis to recheck efficiency and safety.
• Gas rate and pressure checks adjusted after reassembly.

Visual & Safety Checks

Internal Boiler Inspection

• Inspect and clean the burner, heat exchanger, and combustion chamber.

We charge £85 (Inc. VAT) for a boiler service. This includes:

Cleaning the heat exchanger (if needed)

Re-pumping the expansion vessel

Performing a gas safety test on the gas valve

Cleaning the condensate trap

Conducting a combustion test with an analyser

Checking that all controls are working correctly

Adjusting the gas valve (if required during combustion testing)

At the end of the service, we will also provide you with a certificate for your records.

Please note: if any seals or parts are needed, these would incur an additional charge. Any extra labour is billed at £30 (Inc. VAT) per 30 minutes.
