I have been working in a fault finding capacity for 45 years covering electronic, pneumatic, and hydraulic control systems, and have spent more than 20 years fault finding on boilers. I have trained 6 engineers who have gone on to run their own successful business's or who have achieved a management position in local gas business's. I collaborate with other local engineers, providing fault finding advise, and covering their work when required. I have also worked as an auditor for a major boiler manufacturer during one of the governments energy saving initiatives.

As a new era approaches for Barlows Heating And Plumbing Mick D'Ambrosio has now come on board as a partner. Mick has the same values and work ethic and will carry the company forward when I retire.

I have always worked in the construction Industry providing expertise in kitchen fitting and bathroom installations as well as general plumbing. I have retrained under Fred's supervision over the years and used this guidance and training to achieve the same high levels of skill and customer service that our customers expect. I am excited to become a partner and look forward to serving you all.

Most of our work now comes from repeat business and recommendations. We undertake all levels of work from minor repairs to major installations. A couple of the larger properties that we have worked on had over 20 radiators and used enhanced versions of the Evohome control system.

The company provides all domestic gas work including boiler replacement, boiler servicing, boiler repairs, replacement controls, landlords gas safety checks (CP12), home-buyers reports, cooker installation, tracing gas leaks, minor general plumbing work, and I am certified for work on un-vented cylinders.

As accredited installers for Worcester Bosch and Ideal boilers, we can currently offer up to 12 years warranty on certain boilers.

In this age of ever increasing smart apps for the home, we are proud to be a specialist in the Honeywell connected range of controls with specific expertise on the Evohome control system (the Rolls Royce of domestic heating control systems).
