  Internal removal and re-building works

  Excellent job carried out to remove an internal block wall and ceiling rebuild of wall and door way and re-decoration. Very tidy and courteous good communication. good job all round

  Garage conversion, extension, new kitchen install and new en-suite bathroom with a new cranked roof.

  This was a big 6 month project, covering a garage conversion, small extension, a new kitchen, new roof, 2 new bathrooms, UFH. There was a lot of new steelwork installed and this was handled well. The final result of the build work, we are happy with. What we were not happy with at all was a lot of additional charges. Some were needed of course, and agreed upon. For other items they admitted they had overlooked our clear instructions or part of our engineering drawings but still stated they had the costs to cover so would have to charge us for them. E.g. tripling the price for doing the patio.

Our reputation is incredibly important to us and having not received a negative review before, we have taken this matter very seriously.   The initial price for the patio was provided as a preliminary sum which was then updated once we received your final design and specification. The amended estimate reflected the quality of materials to be used as well as the skilled craftsmanship required to provide you with a beautiful, practical and safe product. We are sorry if the updated price was not what you anticipated.   As a resolution, we have agreed to deduct a significant amount from the final retention payment to ensure that you are happy. We have always had great relationships with our clients, and I am very pleased that we have concluded this project on positive terms.   We do hope that you enjoy your newly renovated space for many years to come.

  Exterior cladding, windows and garden office

  What a pleasure it was to use Yates Build. Ross was very helpful and approachable and the rest of his team too. He has a great attention to detail and everything was finished impeccably. I had regular updates from Kelly who really helped me. We had exterior cladding, windows, bifolds and an exterior office. We are extremely happy with all the work that has been carried out and have recommended him already.

  Kitchen and Utility Extension and Renovation

  Fantastic experience with Ross and the team. Had a complete kitchen renovation with a utility room extension and underfloor heating put in. The quality of the finish was superb and we are very happy. Ross was there to project manager every day to ensure everything went smoothly and to the timelines set out at the start. Which is a refreshing change to alot of builders i've come across. Very impressed and will use again

  Kitchen and cloakroom refurbishment

  Yates Build is all about communication , customer care and craftsmanship. I got a prompt response to my first email with site visit and full quotation following soon after. Ross was very happy to discuss the quotation line by line and talk through options. Once on the job, progress was rapid with Ross overseeing all the early stages himself. Queries were always addressed fully and quickly and potential cost savings offered were applicable. The work was of very high calibre and I am extremely happy with the result - all achieved with the minimum of disruption and no stress. Top marks!

  New patio

  New patio and step - excellent workmanship , the build was in the time given , and cleared up at the end of each day. By the time they finished everything old was taken away, and we were left with a neat new patio, would definitely recommend , and a couple of neighbours would like to book them.
