  Josh at WV Damp Proofing and Plastering provided an excellent service from start to finish. He arrived promptly and got straight to work, keeping us informed throughout the entire process and explaining each stage clearly. The damp treatment and plastering work in my parents’ downstairs toilet was completed to a very high standard over two days. Josh took great care to leave the property clean and tidy at the end of each day, and his communication was outstanding throughout.   Plastering & Damp Diagnosis

  Having had Josh recently plaster my entire home, to which he has done a fantastic job, all the walls and ceiling looks great, he was efficient and tidy throughout the whole job. A few months later, a corner of the living room began to show signs of damp. Josh came out within 2 days of the call to assess the damp and find the cause of the issue. Then helped to quickly rectify what could be done immediately, and returning to complete a full solution once the area was accessible. Could not recommend WV damp proofing and plastering more highly.

  Damp Proofing and Plastering a Victorian cottage

  WV Damp Proofing and Plastering were fantastic from start to finish. Arrived on time and immediately moved and covered all furniture to protect from any damage. Flooring was also covered. Work was completed to a very high standard and Josh explained the process throughout. Work was carried out over three days, leaving my house clean before leaving every day. Communication was excellent. Would highly recommend

  All aspects of the work undertaken were done so in a thoroughly professional manner with Josh taking the time to explain the issues and also to talk through possible solutions. His final price matched the quote exactly whilst he ensured that during the time he spent at our property he was as unobtrusive as possible. We were very pleased at the cleanliness of the room where the work was undertaken when Josh left and also at the quality of the finish.

  Chimney damp and hallway damp concerns resolved

  November 2025. WV Damp Proofing and Pastering resolved the damp concerns with my chimney breast in living room and the joists in my hall. Josh was extremely professional and knowledgeable. He completed the works on time and with an excellent finish. I would recommend as a trusts worthy, knowledgeable, professional. The price for works completed were reasonable and works completed to an excellent quality. The whole experience was easy as Josh was efficient on time and did what he promised to do. Really pleased with the work and standards.
