All aspects of the work undertaken were done so in a thoroughly professional manner with Josh taking the time to explain the issues and also to talk through possible solutions. His final price matched the quote exactly whilst he ensured that during the time he spent at our property he was as unobtrusive as possible. We were very pleased at the cleanliness of the room where the work was undertaken when Josh left and also at the quality of the finish.

November 2025. WV Damp Proofing and Pastering resolved the damp concerns with my chimney breast in living room and the joists in my hall. Josh was extremely professional and knowledgeable. He completed the works on time and with an excellent finish. I would recommend as a trusts worthy, knowledgeable, professional. The price for works completed were reasonable and works completed to an excellent quality. The whole experience was easy as Josh was efficient on time and did what he promised to do. Recently had our hall stairs and landing plastered by WV Damp Proofing & Plastering. Josh did a great job for a great price. He started when he said he would and finished in the time he’d said it would take. The work is to a very high standard and he gave great advice on the things that needed doing. Very happy with the finished result and would not hesitate to recommend to anyone in the future. So thankful that I went with WV Damp Proofing and plastering. I had damp on my living room walls and put my foot through my living room floor. After ringing Josh with all my worries and concerns he came around and quickly identified the cause. Josh was very thorough and went through everything with me. He told me how he was going to correct the problem and how long it would take which was only 4 days (2 days for the flooring and 2 days for the damproofing and plastering). His colleague John was fantastic, he was very knowledgeable. Both did an amazing job and at a good price. Thank you.

Came on time to give me an estimate of costs and advised what needed to be done. He was thorough in his investigation of where the damp was coming from and explained the issues. He took pictures of what they were doing and when the job was completed. He was tidy in his work and completed the job on time.
