He came on time and put up a ladder to inspect the job more closely. He then offered to do the job immediately, which I accepted, and the price was very reasonable. He didn't try to make the job bigger than it needed to be, as some other contractors have done.

He came out at the appointed time, went up on a ladder to look at the work, and then offered to do it straight away within his minimum charge fee. He didn't try to make it into a bigger job than it really was.
