  Metal Stairs

  We couldn’t be happier with the work Ben did for us. He accepted a welding job that nobody else wanted to touch and absolutely exceeded our expectations. He added new steps to our metal stairs and went above and beyond by reinforcing and fixing the entire structure. The result is solid, safe, and looks great. Ben is reliable, skilled, and clearly takes pride in his craft. We’re super happy with the outcome and would highly recommend him to anyone needing welding work done!

  Railings for our front garden

  Ben executed to perfection the metal railings for our front garden. He was transparent about the time frame the project could be executed in, and delivered and installed the railings a few days earlier than predicted. Excellent work all round.

  From initial contact to discuss requirements, visiting to quote for work & advise on options, keeping informed on progress of work, finally fitting balustrade, we found Ben to work to a high standard & overall were very impressed with his work & would use him again.

  My greetings card display stand was distorted due to accidental damage.

  I have a display stand for greetings cards, one of a set of three, which was damaged and is no longer produced. Rather than buy a new and different one, which would not match the others, I asked Winskell Enterprises (via Checkatrade) if they could have a look. Ben was happy to mend this for me, a small job compared to their usual work on railings, barriers and the like, but done with courtesy and care. I would have no hesitation in recommending this company.

  Defective peddle to an exercise bike.

  Defective peddle to an exercise bike. I was not able to get the part required to fix get ( a particular type nut). Met Ben at his location he checked but could not find on site a suitable replacement. He agreed to come to my home and conduct an inspection. He assessed that the problem may be resolved with the peddle were to be welded (at the point where the nut should have been). He completed the job (at my home) making sure there were no fire risks. The repair has been tested and continues to remain sound
