  Painting gable wall

  Quoted to do the job but didn't have the necessary equipment to so a professional paint job. The filling of the small cracks on the wall was poorly done. The day after the ONE coat of paint was applied it rained and the paint covering the repairs blistered. There were cables for SKY TV attached to the wall which Victor removed but after having finished the job, or should I say partially completed the job were not put back in place. All in all a complete shambles! Have contacted him numerous times asking when he is coming to rectify the bodged up work but only got pathetic excuses! AVOID!!

  VSH Renovations had the best quote on the market considering inflation and cost of living as we were on a budget. They didn't cut corners with materials and delivered good quality work. Fast and reliable team.

  Repointing brickwork

  I employed this company for some repointing to be done to some external and internal brickwork. This was to include raking out the old pointing. The job looked OK when originally finished, but now it has mostly crumbled and fallen out. I have had an expert come to look at it, and they say the old pointing wasn't ground back sufficiently and the incorrect mix was used to repoint. I have tried to contact the company via email and text following an unproductive phone call. I am now £400 out of pocket and extremely disappointed that I trusted this company to work on my house.

  The customer contacted me on 16/08/2023 at 22:00 (GMT+2) using derogatory and humiliating language, making personal inappropriate remarks and accusations, and making demands regarding an additional/separate job I completed for her about 11 months ago. Nicky didn't send/email any photos as proof of her accusations. The main job, as per her Checkatrade ad [posted in October 2022] was for a painter&decorator to refurbish a bedroom, a job that was booked with me and beautifully executed. At the time she also asked me whether I could fix her external/internal brick wall as it was affected by excess moisture. The customer did not reach out or express any concern for almost a year now. Had there been any technical/quality-related issues I'm certain these would have occurred at an earlier stage, and not "all of a sudden after 11 months". My public position is that the customers review is highly deceiving and inaccurate, solely targeting my online reputation, as well as unrelated to the job posted via Checkatrade.

  Hall, stairs, landing and 2 bedrooms repainted

  We had the painters at VSH Renovations to deal with our summer refurb. We were given 2 quotes as per affordability, first quote reflecting a standard service using trade materials, 2nd quote for a premium service using high quality materials. We’ve went with the premium quote as we wanted higher quality materials and Dulux washable paint. They charged a 20% down payment to cover for materials and prep work which was fair. Works were completed in 3 days including woodwork. Couldn’t get better value for money. Highly recommend.

  Full house external insulation, rendering, new guttering, new pipes, new window ledges

  We had VSH Renovations to deal with the entire external full renovation project. A team of 7 men attended and delivered up to expectations as well as very reasonably priced. One company that takes into account the current financial climate.

  Harrow 4 bedroom house painted, several leaks fixed

  Me and my wife recently moved into a property in Harrow, London. Soon after we’ve moved we noticed several leaks and trying to deal with insurance was difficult in a time when we’re trying to run a business as well. We’ve trusted these young lads at VSH Renovations to sort out the house in a week. Cost effective and quality work I must say. Definitely impressed.
