Viridian is a home insulation specialist based in Ashford, Kent that focuses solely on insulation products and services. Our supervisors and senior installers are employed by us, which means we don't use external subcontractors, and are skilled to a high standard and approved by our system designers.
Our loft insulation products are soft, non-itch, non-combustible, with low levels of dust release, and are made of 80% recycled material, which means they do not contain any volatile chemicals. For cavity wall insulation, we use material that has excellent thermal performance. It is also water-repellent, rot-proof, non-combustible and non-toxic in the event of a fire, which makes it durable and reliable in all weather conditions.
Viridian has access to UK government grant schemes providing free or part-funded insulation for private homes, housing associations and local authorities.
Memberships and approvals
PAS 2030
Why use a PAS 2030:19 approved company? The PAS 2030:19 standard became mandated for all funded energy efficiency measures effective on 1st July 2021.
PAS (publicly available specification) is a British Standards Institute (BSI) standard which sets out the requirements for installing commissioning and handover of Energy Efficiency Measures (EEM’s) in domestic retrofit projects. Its main objective is to assist installers in complying with its requirements for EEMs, providing installation specification for a measure specific Annex. Compliance with the PAS standard requires each installation to meet all of the requirements of PAS 2030.
All retrofit installers who want to install one or more specified EEMs under public funded schemes such as ECO need to be PAS 2030 certified to access these schemes. PAS is required for all funded works such as ECO, Local Authority Delivery Funding and the future Home Upgrades Grant. It is a fundamental requirement under the TrustMark Scheme Rules.
