  John was knowledgeable and very helpful. He promptly provided a site visit. He explained the issue and how he could help. The quotation was reasonable and there was no pressure from him to go with his company. John was efficient and kept me informed throughout the day of the progress of the works. I was hesitant at first to put down a deposit to a person I had not met but having read the reassuring reviews I needn't have worried. John provided lots of pictures and videos and the work was done to an excellent standard. He also kept the tenant happy whilst carrying out the works.

  10/10 – Outstanding service from John at Vintage Roofing

  Got multiple quotes for slate roof repair and was unsure who to trust. John came same-day for a free survey, arranged scaffolding up by Sunday morning, then—on his day off—inspected my full roof, chimneys and gutters, fixed the slipped tile, and repaired an inaccessible shower leak. Never met a more decent, principled tradesman: 100% reliable, honest, tidy, punctual, incredibly fair on price, knowledgeable, and genuinely kind. He kept me informed throughout. His care for customers really shows—he went way above expectations. If comparing quotes, you’ll be in safe hands with Vintage.

  Efficient and friendly

  Vintage Roofing patched a hole in our roof and also undertook some additional preventative work to extend the lifetime of our roof. They were quick, friendly, and efficient. John was very responsive and explained exactly what was needed (and how much this would cost) without pressuring us. Once instructed, they carried out the repairs quickly, while keeping us in the loop as repairs were ongoing. They also followed up the repair with detailed photos showing exactly what had been repaired and have been responsive to follow up questions so that we have felt comfortable throughout the process.
