We had mould in a bedroom and bathroom and thought it could be related to the roof. The guys took a look and showed us videos of where water needed to be redirected and where there were gaps in the roof. They were open and transparent, clear with their comms, proposed a solution based on what they found, executed it in a very professional manner and since it’s been done we’ve had no mould in either of the rooms. They also did a great job replacing the roof tiles. I would 100% use them again.

Joe contacted me as soon as I raised the job on Checkatrade and sent staff to check the issue the following day to provide a quote for completing the work. Joe was very helpful in explaining what work was required and potential options to repair, both cheaper and more long lasting options so I can make an informed decision. The turnaround time was quick and Joe followed up afterwards to say if we had any further issues to let him know and they would sort it. Would recommend Universeal Home improvements for any roofing works required.

It was a positive experience start to end. Joe provided a quote to replace the loft felt which could have been 20 years old and to install and clean the guttering from the back of the property. From when quote was provided work started after the weekend. When coming to see the work being carried it was positive and it took the lads under 2 days to complete the job. I requested Joe provide photos of the new felt as I was not going to climb the ladder that high up. I went with Joe as the quote was more competitive as other builders were charging the extra for scaffolding. I would recommend Joe.

The true test of any company is how they react when there is a problem. I can not speak highly enough of Joseph. He installed a brand new roof on my property which had a problem. He was always available on the phone. Never avoided my calls and acted as quickly as he could. I would not hesitate to recommend Joseph as he genuinely cared and made sure the job was done to my satisfaction.
