  Garden facelift

  Turf’s Up come highly recommended. From the initial quote to liaising throughout the job, it was an absolute pleasure to work with them. The job included relaying the patio, installing a new drainage system, removing old decking and a shed, and putting in a new shed base. The workmanship was excellent, and the team were friendly, courteous, and incredibly respectful, a pleasure to have around. They completed everything within the exact timescale they promised. An added bonus was how great they were with my dog, he absolutely loved them! Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Turf’s Up to anyone.

  I had a really good experience with the team working on my garden. All the information and timelines relating to the work to be done was well communicated; the team were very considerate of my needs throughout the work and the job was professionally done to a very high standard.

  Shed base and shed installion

  Alistair and his team built a shed base and installed a shed in my garden. I found them them to be very hard working and reliable. Very happy with the result and would happly use their services again

  Returfing garden and building a raised flower bed.

  We had a disappointing experience with this company. The flower bed was filled with rubble mud with large stones and glass pieces in it (see photos). The filling was uneven and not completely done (like other photos of their work). When I requested Alistair to correct this, he was curt and borderline rude - he asked me to fill in the gaps myself and rake the sand myself!! Apparently not his problem. I was told I am being 'ridiculous' and should 'get off it..' for requesting him to fix the bad job. It has been a terrible experience.

  Hi bit surprised to see this especially as you told us how delighted you were and paid in full 5 weeks ago and all the extra free hours we did for you planting your beds Regarding the soil it`s 10mm screened soil and we added a bulk bag of compost to it so it`s in way rubble and mud, when lots of soil gets wet yes some stone can rise to the top but as i say it`s screened to 10mm. You rather rudely 5 weeks later told me to come round and sieve the soil for you and to rake the bed perfectly level not to mention the crushed slate we put down to cover gap between your patio and your fence you wanted me to remove any of the smaller crushed slate so each chipping was the same size, unfortunately despite the threat of a bad review i think these are totally unreasonable demands and that is what they are. We pride ourselves going the extra mile for our clients and hopefully all the positive reviews we have will shine through and this will not damage our proud reputation we work so hard for.

  Turf installed and plants

  Quickly and most helpful trade person, I've worked at my place since the beginning of the project. They are very professional, clean and tidy trade people. Alistair was invaluable, with a competitive price and responsiveness to my phone calls and queries. His team, Malcolm and Harry, is the best you can work with. The garden and the plants look lovely I'm happy with the service and would recommend them to anyone.

  Patio and pathway laid

  The guys were all really friendly and hardworking. They dug up our old patio, levelled and laid sandstone paving. They also dug up a flower bed and laid a matching path. Looks lovely, we are very pleased! Alistair was very quick to reply to communications and always available to answer any questions which was very reassuring.
