  Wooden floor (Herringbone) restoration

  Luke did an outstanding job in restoring our Herringbone floors. We actually didn’t think it possible to be restored to the quality of work that Luke produced. An amazing result given how damaged it was originally.

  Assess wooded floor for restoration

  The standard of Luke's workmanship was exemplary and we are very pleased with his work and would thoroughly recommend him. He was meticulous in reducing the mess to a minimum and cleaning up afterwards. I initially contacted Luke to assess a small oak floor in need of rejuvenation. He responded promptly to visit, assess and discuss our options for the floor. Being a fairly small room we decided upon the new floor option. Luke removed and disposed of the old flooring, screed the underlying floor, then laid the new floor and fitted new skirting boards.

  Restoration of wooden parquet floor

  I cannot recommend Luke highly enough if you have a wooden floor in need of some care. We recently bought a house with a 1960s wooden parquet floor, which had seen better days. Luke did an absolutely "Top Notch" job of bringing it back to its former glory. He carefully repaired the various damaged or missing tiles (luckily we had some spares), sanded it all down, filled in the holes and gaps where the original floor had gaps between the tiles, and varnished it. All the original damage and discoloration is gone and the floor looks as good as new. Thank you Luke!

  Wood flooring downstairs rooms and hallway

  Luke replied very quickly to our request to quote for wood flooring throughout the downstairs of our house. We were impressed straightaway with his obvious knowledge and experience in fitting wood flooring and were happy to take his advice on what would work for us. From day one we were amazed how extremely hard Luke works and his attention to detail. He was very tidy as he worked and cleaned up before he left each day. The work was completed exactly by the time he said. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Luke. He is a genuinely nice, friendly guy and was also helpful in DIY tips. Superstar!!

  New downstairs wooden flooring

  We found Luke in the Check a Trade directory and contacted him to come round to quote for replacing our old wooden flooring with new. Our experience from that initial call to the completion of the job was outstanding. Luke was polite, professional and reliable throughout and the quality his workmanship was amazing. There is a reason why his business is called Top Notch Flooring and we can vouch for that! We would no hesitation in recommending him and his services.

  New herringbone floors in kitchen, main reception and hallway

  I cannot commend the work of Top Notch floors (and Luke) enough. My brand new herringbone wooden floor is simply stunning. Luke has worked tirelessly to lay a demanding and complex (yet beautiful) new floor, which has taken over 2 weeks of dedicated work to complete. I am convinced it has added value to my property, but more than that, it has created a beautiful space and backdrop. Luke is committed, reliable and works to the highest possible standards. He cares passionately about the quality of his work, and giving the best possible service to his customer.
