  Roof repair

  We had our roof done in 2016 by TMBD, and now, 9 years later, it started leaking again. I approached them to enquire about their 10 year guarantee, and, in short, they were true to their word - they came and fixed it for free. Why not 10/10 then? Well, it did take quite a bit of micromanaging - phone calls initially not returned, then, once we had a contact person, a number of emails and whatsapps to pin them down to a day, but in the end they did the repair. I am no roofer but apparently their fix was "above and beyond" what was needed, so - kudos to them!

  Architectural design for extension

  A massive thank you to James’s , Peter and Brian for helping us get our planning application approved and for completing our building regulations drawings. Our drawings were detailed and well put together. We had around 10 quotes from builders who all complimented how detailed our drawings were. The MD&B are really professional, good with time keeping and I felt that they listened to our wants for our extension. As a result, we decided to stay with them for the duration of our project and they will be carrying out the building work for the extension.

  Fantastic design and build company

  Work done: Rear extension, downstairs cloakroom/WC, lounge conversion, full bathroom renovation Date of work: [Dec 2024-Feb 2025] We used The Market Design and Build for a major renovation of our home, including a rear extension to create an open-plan kitchen-diner, a new downstairs WC under the stairs, a new lounge/TV room, and a full bathroom refurbishment upstairs. They were very thorough during the design stage, allowing for multiple plan changes and guiding us through planning applications and party wall agreements. The in-house architect was especially helpful and handled a full redesign

  Loft Reconfiguration

  We had the pleasure of working with Raman as the construction manager for our loft reconfiguration and new bathroom installation, and we couldn’t be happier with the results. Raman was incredibly professional, communicative, and detail-oriented. He managed the entire project seamlessly—coordinating contractors and keeping us informed every step of the way. Raman was always responsive to our questions and made sure any concerns were addressed quickly and thoroughly. The entire team was very respectful and helpful during the entire construction.
