Bruce was great. He carried out the assessment and produced the report in a timely manner. He was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. His fee was fair. We would happily ask Bruce to carry out FRAs for us in future. Totally recommended.

I contacted The Fire Risk Assessment Company as I needed to provide an assessment for my building along with the other landlords in my building. I was a bit unsure as to what I needed but they helped outline what I required by law with very informative communication. They were then able to carry out the assessment soon after and they were very friendly and did a professional job. I would definitely recommend.

We are an independent Fire Safety Consultancy, providing expert advice and assessments across London, the Home Counties, and the South and West of England. We are a consultancy only – we do not sell alarms, fire doors, or any other products. Our role is to provide independent, credible, and compliant fire safety guidance, giving you confidence that your safety and legal obligations are fully met, without a sales agenda attached.

Our consultants are available 7 days a week, and all work is carried out by qualified, accredited, and fully insured professionals. Every report is controlled and verified by our senior consultants.

Tier 3 assessors are recognised as competent to carry out fire risk assessments on high-risk and complex buildings, having been rigorously examined and accredited by independent third-party certification schemes. We are proud to be among the few consultancies in the UK to operate at this level.

Our Services

We undertake Fire Risk Assessments for all types of premises, including:

In addition, we prepare fire strategies and technical reports to support compliance with Section 16 of the Building Act 1984 and Section 38 of the Building Regulations 2010.

All clients receive a “live” document that fulfils the requirements of the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005, which places a duty on the Responsible Person to ensure a suitable and sufficient assessment is carried out by a competent person.

Express Service

If you are buying or selling a flat, we offer an express assessment service for common areas. To avoid delays with contracts or completion, a full assessment can be completed and delivered as a PDF within 48 hours of inspection.

Fire Safety Act 2021

Since 17 May 2022, the Fire Safety Act 2021 has extended the scope of the Fire Safety Order to include the structure and external walls (such as balconies, cladding, windows, insulation and fixings) and flat entrance doors. The Responsible Person – whether a freeholder, management company or agent – must now ensure compliance.
