  We contacted Tim to enquire about the providing and fitting of a new front door for us. We made contact with Tim having received a flyer and from our first meeting, it was clear that he was very knowledgeable about what would be required and all costs involved. He guided us through the process of sourcing a door, then prepped it in his workshop and fitted it on the day he had advised, agreed through email contact. The quality of the workmanship has been very high. He is immaculately tidy on site, and we are thrilled with our door and the time and care taken to fit all the ironmongery fittings

  Our experience of using The Cornish Carpenter was absolutely first class from the beginning of the project to its conclusion. Tim responded quickly to our first enquiry and gave us an initial assessment based on our requirements so we knew the broad range of costs before working with us. He then worked with us to produce a design of exactly what we wanted. Tim’s communication is excellent and everything was done in the time agreed. The finished product exceeded our expectations. The standard of Tim’s craftsmanship is fantastic and he was very respectful of our property. Highly recommended.

  Needed fire door trimming after new carpets fitted

  Needed a fire door trimmed after new carpets fitted. Couldn’t ask for more. Perfect job, excellent communication, quick and very tidy. Would definitely use again. Highly recommend.

  Replacing a broken wooden stair
